It is a survey of cultural practices, ideal leadership attributes, and trust antecedents from 300-500 middle managers in over 120 countries with the help of over 280 Country Co-Investigators (CCIs). Please see the map above for countries where we have a sufficient of number of local investigators and countries where we need additional researchers. 2015. Scholarly Rigor and Critical Thought award for Strategic Leadership Across Cultures: The GLOBE Study of CEO Leadership Behavior and Effectiveness in 24 Countries received the 2015 University of San Diego and International Leadership Association (ILA) leadership book award.
2008. American Psychological Association award for “Culture and Leadership Across the World: The GLOBE Book of In-Depth Studies of 25 Societies.” Recipient of the 2008 Ursula Gielen Global Psychology Book Award, given annually by the International Psychology Division (52), American Psychological Association, to authors of the book that makes the most significant contribution to psychology as a global discipline.
2007. Bob House received the Eminent Scholar award for his long years of contributions to the field of leadership.
2007. Academy of Management Perspectives (formerly Academy of Management Executive). Best journal paper award for “In the Eye of the Beholder: Cross cultural Lessons in Leadership from project GLOBE.” Javidan, M., Dorfman, P., Sully de Luque, M., and House, R.J.

Awarded to the GLOBE Project team for development, conduct and application of outstanding practice of industrial-organizational psychology in the workplace (business, industry, government).
